Tartufo Restaurant is an award-winning Italian restaurant featuring authentic, unique, Abruzzese cuisine. We are conveniently located in Newton Centre, Massachusetts, and specialize in chef-prepared Italian dishes-homemade to order-with all natural ingredients, in a pleasant and inviting environment. Come, sit back, relax, and enjoy our delicious Italian food, as well as our wide selection of premium wines.

Tartufo was created by Owner/Manager Anna Mountzuris and Owner/Executive Chef Dante Bellucci. Anna explains the concept for the restaurant entailed a “blending and enticing assortment of organic meats, fish, vegetables, and of course fresh baked bread, all in the Abruzzese tradition.”Chef Dante Bellucci, formerly Head Chef, Marino’s Restaurant Cambridge, was raised in Pescara, Abruzzi(Italy).

Minestrone Soup Abruzzese: Fresh seasonal vegetables, beans and barley simmered in vegetable stock. $8

Pasta e Fagioli: Traditional ditali pasta with mixed bean soup. $7

Mixed Greens & Strawberry Salad: Mesclun, goat cheese, strawberries, caramelized walnuts with strawberry white vinaigrette. $10

Lobster Salad: Mixed green, diced tomato, avocado, lobster meat, lemon aioli sauce. $21

Arugula Salad: Arugula, roasted peppers, imported goat cheese, lemon dressing. $9

Caesar Salad: Romaine lettuce, parmigiano, homemade crostini, caesar dressing. $8

Grilled Calamari: Salad greens, grilled calamari, Evoo & lemon. $13

Mussels Adriatico: Mussels, tomato, white wine, crushed red pepper, evoo. $13

Shrimp al Cognac: Shrimp, garlic, EVOO, scallions, crushed red pepper, cognac reduction. $13

*Tuna Tartar Avocado: Sashimi tuna, avocado, arugula, sesame oil, soy sauce dressing. $15

Prosciutto di Parma: Prosciutto di Parma, salamino, arugula, roasted pepper, olives, parmigiano and pecorino cheeses. $17

Caprese Insalata: Imported buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomato, basil, evoo. $13

Rigatoni Bolognese: Rigatoni pasta, freshly made beef and tomato ragout. $16

Risotto Wow: Arborio rice, shrimp, spinach, shiitake and champignon mushrooms in a goat cheese white sauce. $18

Lasagna: Homemade fresh pasta, ground beef and veal ragout, béchamel sauce mozzarella and tomato. $14

Tagliatelle Carbonara: Tagliatelle, pancetta, onions, eggs, cream, black pepper, parmigiano cheese. $14

Lobster Arrabiata: Half lobster mild spiced marinara sauce over spaghetti. $24
